Mary, thanks for the post. I have a marriage record for John Strappe and Anne Kelly April -June 1947. Johns father Patrick and mother Mary Dunphy. I also show John and Anne having 4 sons Pat, Martin, John M. and Mike M. Which one was your father? I have a tree back to the 1700's. I also have a tree that goes to Lismoynan just outside of Drangan west about 2 mi. This is where my great grandfather Walter came from and his wife Mary Maher came from Newtown which is where your line goes. I have not been able to find a Mary Strapp who died in 1931 at age 105 in Newtown. There must have been Strapp and Strappe families there but I cannot prove it.
